- Be a registered voter in Putnam County
- Have own transportation to and from polls
- Be able to lift and assemble voting booths, and voting equipment (approximately 26lbs)
- Be able to speak, read and write the English language
- Be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend and have manual/physical dexterity
- Commit to work from 6 a.m. to approximately 8 p.m. on Election Day
- Attend mandatory training sessions prior to being permitted to work on Election Day
- Arrive at their assigned precinct by 6 a.m. on Election Day
- Assist with opening and closing the polls
- Be able to deal with the public in a courteous manner
- Provide assistance to voters if needed
- Remain NON PARTISAN during working hours
